[h] [ẓ][l][l], Sima: '[(he) covered this subterranean water-channel]'. Line 3. dṯʾ -h, Abū l-Ḥasan: 'his spring harvest'; bʿd dṯʾ -h, Sima: 'in the direction of his spring field'. Commentary
There is no available photograph of this text and the reading is based on the Abū l-Ḥasan's copy (1997: 467, pl. 9). Line 4. The letter ʿayn at the beginning of this line does not provide any sense to the text. It may belong to a neighbouring inscription, or it may be mistake on the part of the carver.
