- {By} Ngʾt son of {Mḥʾ} son of Mṣrn son of ʿgr and he grieved for Gfft and for Mʿz
Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- NSR: l ngʾt bn mḥʾ for [l] ngʾt bn mḥ{ʾ}. JaS 123: nght for ngʾt and mḥl for mḥʾ.
- Commentary
- There is an incised line near the beginning of the text but it is deeper than the following letters and is probably not the original l. The first letter of the first name is just visible under the abrasions. The ʾ of the second name has a rather shallow fork and is slightly damaged.
