Commentary
s¹rt: could be to compare it with Classical Arabic sūrah "a structure of any size" (Lane 1465a) and note that in a Bedouin dialect of central Arabia sūr means "wall or enclosure" (Kurpershoek, P.M. Oral Poetry and Narratives from Central Arabia. 5. Voices from the Desert. Glossary, Indices, & List of Recordings, volume 5, Leiden: Brill, 2005: 151).
