Interpretation

Commentary
Unfortunately, the photographs do not show the letters flṭ and Rūsān 2004 has neither a copy nor a photograph of this inscription. Their inclusion in the reading here depends entirely on Rūsān's reading in which they are placed in ( ). It is unknown on what basis he placed them here and they are therefore marked as doubtful. On the photographs there is what appears to be a n after mdnt suggesting that "two provinces" (Syria and Arabia?) are mentioned. The reading given here (apart from mdntn) was proposed by Al-Jallad & Bernard (forthcoming).
