WH 2464
Text Information
- Siglum
- WH 2464
- Transliteration
- l ṣfy bn kn {----} h- ḥyt
- Translation
- By Ṣfy son of Kn {----} are the animals
Interpretation
- Commentary
- The names are written in one direction and h- ḥyt starts on the other side of the lām auctoris and runs in the opposite direction towards the drawings of the animals. However, it should be noted that the stone is broken immediately after the n of kn and the "7 strokes" within a cartouche below it are incomplete, so it possible that the inscription continued beyond kn before returning to h- ḥyt.

- WH Cairn 34 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
