Interpretation

WH: s¹yr "accompany [him] for s¹yb "[send] running water"
Commentary
For s¹yb perhaps compare Classical Arabic suyūb (sg. sayb) "gifts, benefactions, favours" (Lane 1481b), or Modern Central Arabian dialect sīb "a rivulet" (Kurpershoek 2005: 153).

Provenance
WH Cairn 40 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
