- We have taken the dot as extraneous to the text. It is clearly neither a ʿ nor a n since each of these has a different form in this text. The bn has been altered to look like a f with a dot after it below the text.

- WH Cairn 40 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
