Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- WH: translation of ṣhyt as [l]ḥyt; hws¹r for {h}ws¹r
- Commentary
- WH read the second letter as ṣ but emended it to l on the basis of a two-generation lineage but it is clearly ṣ. The eight letter runs into the r of WH 211 and so is not entire clear. It could be read as a t though. Tws¹r could be a variant of Arabic Tays¹īr, with the well-known confusion of w/y.
