- ---- son of ʾlf son of Mrʾ son of Qs¹m and he grieved and he waited for the rain and so O Lt [grant] {relief from adversity and uncertainty} and may whoever scratches out [the inscription] be thrown out of his grave
Interpretation
- Commentary
- The letters of the first two names have been hammered over and the first name is very uncertain. The r of the word rwḥ has a kink in it which gives it the appearance of a f.
