Commentary
It is difficult to see how the AWS's reading was arrived at. The text is in front of a drawing of two donkeys pulling a plough. For a discussion of the drawing see ʿAlūlū see ʿAlūlū [Alulu] 2011: 136, and ʿAbābnah [Ababneh] MI 2017: 36. For other drawings of ploughing accompanied by Safaitic inscriptions see APSI I, 2 and 3, BES18 9, KEAS 1–3, KRS 1861 (= KR 7), and the discussion in in Al-Khraysheh 1997 and ʿAbābnah [Ababneh] MI 2017.
