Interpretation
- Commentary
- Unfortunately, the inscription is badly damaged in several places. The reading of the first word after ḍf as s¹fr is confirmed by the same word immediately below it (in both cases the upper arm opens in the opposite direction from the direction of the text). In the first instance, s¹fr would appear to mean "he journeyed" (see Al-Jallad & Jaworska 2019, under sfr 1).
