Interpretation
- Commentary
-
The text is clear but the interpretation is more difficult. For ẓʿn see Al-Jallad & Jaworska 2019:143. For s²q cf. Arabic šīq "a mountain" (Lane 1634a). ʿqrb in this context would seem to be either a personal name or a place name and for ʿz cf. Arabic ʿawz "Want, destitution" (Lane 2196a–b).
