Interpretation

Commentary
The first letter of the author’s name seems to be a ẓ, but there is a vertical line cutting across the right side of the letter. The patronym is difficult to make sense of in the photos. The reading of the first two letters is tentative. The first letter seems to be an H-shape, but one can see a faint horizontal bar at the bottom of the letter, hence the reading as ḍ. The second letter could be a l or n. A name ḍnt is previously unattested. Josef Bloomfield
