Interpretation
- Commentary
- The inscription is partially concealed by the abrasion at the top of the stone. The inscription then seems to skip over BES20 1013 which runs horizontally and continues with w wgm. The final word overlaps with BES20 1012. It is not clear whether the author is referring to a ‘loved one’ in general, or an individual called Ḥbb. There are marks on the stone after the inscription that look like fs¹fʿ but they seem to be extraneous. Josef Bloomfield
