Interpretation

Commentary
The inscription is partially concealed by the abrasion at the top of the stone. The inscription then seems to skip over BES20 1013 which runs horizontally and continues with w wgm. The final word overlaps with BES20 1012. It is not clear whether the author is referring to a ‘loved one’ in general, or an individual called Ḥbb. There are marks on the stone after the inscription that look like fs¹fʿ but they seem to be extraneous. Josef Bloomfield
