Interpretation
- Commentary
- The inscription is lightly scratched on the stone and there are no close up photographs. There is a gap between the ḥ of the patronym and the following bn. This space must be where the s² of qḥs² is located but is not visible in the photograph. Two other inscriptions on the stone mention an ʿqrb bn qḥs² (BES20 1052, 1053). The final name in the genealogy looks like ʾdn, as a extraneous line runs along the left side of the b, which makes it appear like a ʾ. A f is very faintly visible under an extraneous mark before the start of the prayer. Josef Bloomfield
