Interpretation

Commentary
The patronym is uncertain. The second letter may be a s¹ as there is what appears to be a stem on the left side of the letter, but this may just be a mistake. The final letter looks like a ṯ, with a very lightly scratched hook at the bottom of the line. Nevertheless, this hook seems to be incomplete, so has been read as a mistake in our reading of rby.
