Interpretation
- Commentary
- The reading of gmln is uncertain. The first letter is the same size as the ʿ in nʿm. Additionally, the apparent l is a different shape to the lām auctoris, which is a straight vertical line. Despite this, a reading of ʿmrn does not seem likely, particularly when the text refers to the two camels on the same face of the stone. Josef Bloomfield
