Interpretation

Commentary
The second letter of the third name looks like a ʾ, but the h-shape letter that touches the n, seems to be unrelated to the rest of the inscription. An inscription by ʾẖ (BES20 1753) is on the same face of the stone and seems to be the author's brother, but the author of BES20 1753 is also grieving for ʾẖ. The word presumably refers to the name ʾẖ, rather than the word 'brother'.  Josef Bloomfield
