- Language and Script
- Mixed Safaitic/Hismaic
Interpretation
- Commentary
- Some of the letters are badly carved, such as ṣ of ḫrṣ and the ʾ and ḫ of ʾḫ. Note the Hismaic form of ḍ as two concentric circles which occurs from time-to-time in Safaitic mainly in texts by members of the ʾl ʿmrt. The personal name ḍbʾ is well-known in Safaitic.
- Associated Signs
- There is a sign like an angular ḥ (which may be later) above the beginning of the text. There are also many dots but these do not appear to be grouped in sevens.
- [ZMMS] Previously unpublished inscriptions recorded by Al-Zuʿbī, M. & Al-Maʿānī, S.A. on their Marabb al-Šurafāʾ and Wādī Suwayʿid survey in north-eastern Jordan in 2015
