- Translation
- By Glḥn son of Gls¹ son {S²fgt} son of {Glḥn} son of Ḫlṣ son of ʾs¹ son of Nmr son of Bs¹ʾ so Ds²r [grant] booty
Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- BRCM: glhn for glḥn; s²fʿt for s²fgt; glhn for gl{ḥ}n.
- Commentary
- There is marked difference between the shape of s² in s²{f}gt and that in ds²r. The {f} in s²{f}gt has one too many curves and indeed looks like another s². Finally, the g appears to have a dot in it like a Hismaic ḍ, but this is almost certainly accidental in view the many clear instances of s²fgt in the BRCM texts.
