Interpretation
- Commentary
This text attests the rare particle ʿkd(y), which is found also in the Namārah inscription. Its meaning and etymology have been the subject of much debate. The Safaitic witness supports its interpretation as 'thereafter' or 'until'. On its etymology, see Al-Jallad 2021b.
