Interpretation

Commentary
The beginning of the inscription is concealed by damage on the stone and only the tops of the letters are visible. The final letter looks like a ġ, which would give the unattested name ʿzġ. Upon closer inspection, there appears to be a lighter hammered circle on one side of the letter, which may mean it is a y. Josef Bloomfield
