By {Bs¹rn} son of {ʿdn} son of {S¹brn} {son of} Ġz son of S¹b son of {S¹}----ḏʿ son of ʾfrt and O {Rḍy} blind he who would efface [this inscription]
Josef Bloomfield
- Language and Script
- Safaitic 1
Interpretation
- Commentary
- The author draws b and s¹ in a similar manner and occasionally seems to draw a s¹ instead of a b, such as in the first name and in the bn before ġz. In the name of the deity Rḍy, the author only draws one horizontal line on the ḍ. Josef Bloomfield
