Interpretation
- Commentary
- This inscription is on a face of the stone with three other inscriptions by members of the same family (BES20 1430-1432). The second letter of the author's name looks more like a l as the curvature is very slight, but given that ṭld is previously unattested. whereas ṭrd has, at the time of writing, been attested 34 times in OCIANA, the reading presented here seems more likely.
