Interpretation

Commentary
The second and third names in the genealogy are difficult to make sense of. There is a horizontal line across the centre of the second letter of the patronyn, but this mark looks more like a natural contour in the stone, rather than an intentional mark. Nevertheless, the reading here somewhat unsatisfactorily includes this mark in the reading of the letter as a k. There is no visible bn between fkr and ʿfry.  Josef Bloomfield
