Interpretation
- Commentary
- The photographs do not show the inscription clearly. The second letter looks like a possible h or k. Nevertheless, the reading here sees the fork at the bottom of the curve as extraneous, and therefore the letter is read as a r. The grbt has only been found twice previously in Safaitic, both of which seem to be uncertain readings (HaNSB 280, HaNSC 17). Josef Bloomfield
