md: This should be understood as the suffix conjugated verb madda 'to extend', compare with Mehri məd 'to stretch out'. In the C-stem, it means 'to give'.
hḍ: The subject of the verb md. This personal name is not attested in ANA, but the root is productive in Arabic where it means 'to crush, break' (Lane, 2896a).
k-: This is the dative preposition, also attested in Minaic. In Mehri, the k- preposition serves a number of functions, but a dative sense can still be detected in its use in 'have' constructions, šəh 'he has' < *ka-hu 'to him'. In other cases, the preposition has the meaning of 'with' (Rubin 2009).
s²ms¹: The pan-Semitic solar deity.
