This text likely belongs to the 'halting' genre, attested also in KMJ 47-49. There are secondary engravings on the stone obscuring many of the letters.
ḍwr: A personal name previously attested in Safaitic.
wqf: The common verb waqafa 'to halt.'
rs²rs²: This term is previously attested in Dhofari 1b but the context does not assist in its interpretation. It appears to be a reduplicated form of the root rs²s², which in Arabic means 'to sprinkle' and can signify a light rain. The MSAL root rśś signifies crawling or creeping and gives rise to the word rēśīt 'snake' (Johnstone 1987: 330).
