This inscription was first identified as an Abecedary in Al-Jallad 2025d and then re-edited by Al-Jallad in Al-Jallad and Prioletta 2026 based on a clearer photograph (which is published here).
The right column contains what appears to be the beginning of the final Dhofari letter family z y but then contains a glyph whose precise phonemic value is unknown followed by an l. It is unclear if this is related to the abecedary columns or reflects an imitation by another person who did not understand the primary inscription. In any case, the second glyph of this column remains a puzzle and is attested in Script 2 as well as Script 1b.
