ʾlbʾ (bn ms¹k bn wʾl bn ḥnn) is the brother of Wʾl (bn ms¹k bn wʾl bn ḥnn) in BES25_MG1 10.3, their father is the dedicant of BES25_MG1 19.1; ʾlbʾ is a rare name –– its only other co-occurrence in the corpus with Ms¹k, a very common name, is on a Safaitic bowl (Damascus Museum 21039.1). The use of variant sign forms for alif at word-medial and word-final positions (in the dedicant's name) and the consistently triangular shape for the three letters in the father's name (Ms¹k) are paleographically interesting, the latter perhaps signaling that the two inscriptions were carved by a single person.
