Commentary
ḪLD – Another hapax legomenon in the Safaitic corpus from a well-attested root elsewhere in Arabic. I interpret the form as a nominal one, likely ḫulūd “perpetuity; forever,” parallel to the more common (in Safaitic) l-ʾbd.
