Interpretation

Commentary

The word lṣṭ is drawn from Greek ληστής (SafDict, 93a). This word is preceded by the ʾ- definite article here, but another inscription written by the same man, AMSI 50, uses the h- definite article (Al-Jallad 2018c: 10-13).
