Interpretation
- Commentary
- The inscription is scratched in long thin letters and is covered by damage and horizontal scratches, as well as three other inscriptions (BES20 1702, 1703 and 1705). The cartouche runs through the ʾ of ʾns¹ which makes it look like a m, but upon close inspection the letter must be a ʾ. The b of bn is rather uncertain. The reading here assumes it is large squared letter. It is difficult to make sense of the letters in the second name. Josef Bloomfield
