Interpretation
- Commentary
- The inscription is scratched in long thin letters and is covered by damage and horizontal scratches, as well as three other inscriptions (BES20 1702-1704). The first letter of the author's name is clear to read, but following this the reading is presented very tentatively. The apparent ḍ could equally be read as a ṣ and ḥ, with unrelated horizontal lines. Josef Bloomfield
