Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus

OCIANA 1: ʾbl for ʾb {-h}, trans. 'by Qṣy son of Wrd son of Rwḥ and stopped [after he searched for [his] camels and he was alone and so O Ḏs²r [grant] security.'

Commentary

This individual is clearly a son of the deceased man buried in the tomb, wrd. He seems to have come back to this place after the burial to visit his father, expressing this with the verb gls¹, as in AMSI 41.
