Interpretation

Commentary
The lām auctoris seems to be directly above the head of the horse drawing. Following the s¹, there is a straight line that looks like a l. The reading here assumes the line is related to the lines to the left of it, however one would typically expect seven lines and this line would be the eighth. Josef Bloomfield
