Interpretation

Commentary
The inscription is written vertically below the lower horse's front legs. A lām auctoris is not visible and it difficult to work out which inscription the letters belong to. It is possible that the author's name is rzn and the lām auctoris is concealed by the horse's leg, however the name is rare (appearing only 3 times in OCIANA at the time of writing).  Josef Bloomfield
