Interpretation
- Commentary
-
The author is the son of the author of BES25_MG1 15.2. As such, the omission of bn between the first two names should be regarded as haplology.
The third sign of the first name more resembles a b than the other rs in these texts, because its hooks aren't as pronounced, but the comparative frequencies of nṣr and nṣb in the Safaitic onomasticon favor reading the sign as an r.
